There are a variety of reasons behind patients requiring sedation. For example, sedation may be necessary if the patient has dental anxiety, if they are about to have a painful or complex procedure or if they have had a past traumatic experience.
Let IV sedation be the solution...
SAF Medical Ltd offers a professional medical service to dentists and doctors who have anxious patients who cannot have treatment without sedation.

We know that oral sedation in the form of Diazepam and Temazepam often has an unpredictable effect, onset or duration. Some patients might still be uncomfortable as these tablets contain no analgesic properties. Other patients might be too sedated and could even have breathing problems.
Likewise, national guidelines now not only require continuous saturation monitoring of the patient when oral sedation is administered, but also that staff be adequately trained in ILS and the dentist be confident in cannulating in case of emergency.
We provide a mobile IV sedation service, which might be the solution to all of the above issues. Not only will an experienced medical doctor be present during the procedure, but our service should ensure that your clinic list runs smoothly and time-efficiently.
